POP MART is coming to CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The brand confirmed the news just hours ago on its official Instagram account (@popmart_us), listing the Eaton Centre alongside four other new locations opening simultaneously across North America. It will be the brand’s first location in a major downtown Canadian shopping centre, and only its second in the Greater Toronto Area.

The store will take over the former Call It Spring space on Level 1 of one of North America’s busiest shopping centres, in a stretch of the mall that has been seeing some of its most significant tenant activity in years.

The location is no accident. That section of Level 1 runs between the Queen Street and Dundas/TMU subway entrances, making it one of the highest-traffic corridors in the building during any busy period. Across the hall is Mac and Adidas. Just down the stretch is Sad Nuggie, which 6ixRetail has covered extensively since its announcement, along with MINISO Pink and MINISO Toys. Treehouse Toys anchors the far end. POP MART is walking into a section of the mall that has already established itself as a destination for exactly the kind of younger, brand-driven shopper the company is built around.

The brand entered Canada through CF Richmond Centre in Vancouver in late 2025, followed quickly by Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby and a location at Guildford Town Centre in Surrey. Toronto Premium Outlets in Halton Hills is the only other Ontario location currently open, having debuted to significant local demand. Robo-Shops, the brand’s vending-machine format, have appeared at Scarborough Town Centre and Square One, but those are a different product entirely from a full physical store.

POP MART was founded in Beijing in 2010 and pivoted to designer toys and original IP in 2014. That shift built the company into one of the fastest-growing retail concepts in the world, driven by characters like Labubu, SKULLPANDA, DIMOO, and MOLLY sold in blind boxes, sealed packaging where you don’t know what’s inside until you open it. The format has generated a massive secondary resale market, a devoted collector community across social media, and lineups at store openings around the world. The company’s Americas business grew 748.4% in 2025, and it has said it expects more than 100 North American locations open by the end of 2026.

The CF Toronto Eaton Centre confirmation is part of a broader wave of movement happening at the mall right now. Last Friday, May 29, Skechers opened a 5,457 square foot location in the former Free People space on Level 2, a unit that was most recently home to Aaniin, an Indigenous pop-up that 6ixRetail covered earlier this year. The former Skechers location sits directly across from B2, beside Levi’s, with POP MART rounding the corner next to the newly opened JD Sports. Aritzia-owned TNA and Babaton were consolidated into the new location and will be seeing a new tenants confirmed.

RW and Co also opened its flagship location on that same Friday at the Queen Street entrance of Level 2, combining two adjacent units into a single 9,846 square foot space. It is the brand’s largest store to date.

Aritzia reopened its newly expanded Toronto Eaton Centre boutique on April 27, making it the brand’s largest store in central Toronto. The expanded space includes an A-OK Cafe, the brand’s in-house coffee concept, and marks the first Ontario location to offer soft-serve ice cream. Victoria’s Secret is currently undergoing a major renovation of its 10,382 square foot location and has temporarily relocated to Level 3 in the former Club Monaco space while work is completed.

On the openings still ahead, Reformation has construction hoarding up in its space on Level 3 in the former Babaton. Its closest existing address is in Yorkville. Flying Tiger Copenhagen, which 6ixRetail was among the first to report on, is heading into the former Fox’s Home and Eddie Bauer location. Bailey Nelson is confirmed for a space directly across from the new Skechers. And Browns Shoes has construction hoarding up on what will be a combined space significantly larger than its current Level 3 location beside Lululemon and OVO.

Conspiracy Comics, Games and Anime has relocated to the former Rudsak space upstairs beside Oak + Fort and Pilgrim. Lovisa has opened in the former Sunglass Hut space. Rodd and Gunn has closed its pop-up in the former Ted Baker location, with no announcement yet on what follows.

V12 Trackside International is confirmed for a 2,359 square foot space in what was previously Aldo Shoes, beside Best Buy Express. The brand had been operating as a temporary tenant in the former Moose Knuckles space upstairs, and FIFA is expected to move into that vacated location as a pop-up.

POP MART’s Canadian rollout is represented by Jeff Berkowitz of Aurora Retail Group. A grand opening date has not been announced. 6ixRetail will update this article as details are confirmed.
