Club Monaco is coming back to CF Toronto Eaton Centre.
A new store is set to open this September at 220 Yonge Street, the mall’s downtown flagship address, about a year after the brand’s abrupt exit from the same property. The space sits on the third level between Michael Kors and Kate Spade New York, across from Moose Knuckles and the soon to open Reformation, and it is the same physical spot the previous Club Monaco store occupied.
The retailer’s careers page now lists a full slate of positions tied to the location, including a Store Manager, an Assistant Store Manager, a Full Time Key Holder and a Sales Associate/Stylist role, all posted under the TEC name and the 220 Yonge Street address. That kind of buildout, covering management down to the sales floor, points to a real store opening rather than a placeholder listing.
Each posting notes that successful candidates will train in mid-August at Club Monaco’s Sherway Gardens location before transferring to TEC for the grand opening.

The reopening follows the sudden closure of Club Monaco’s previous Eaton Centre store in June 2025, when staff were told with only a couple hours’ notice that the location would be vacated that night. The company pointed to lease issues at the time.
In between the two Club Monaco tenancies, the storefront was used on an interim basis by Victoria’s Secret, while that retailer’s main Eaton Centre store was being renovated. The new Pink and Victoria’s Secret reopened on July 13th, 2026.
This reopening also arrives during a broader pullback in Club Monaco’s Canadian store count. The brand closed its Bloor Street West flagship in Yorkville in 2021 after about 25 years, its Robson Street flagship in Vancouver in 2024, Halifax Shopping Centre in January 2025, and a men’s store at Yorkdale Shopping Centre in fall 2025.
In December 2025, Club Monaco also closed its first ever store, at 403 Queen Street West, ending a 40 year run at the address where the brand launched back in 1985. Club Monaco’s own company history credits that original store with drawing lines around the block on opening day, and traces the brand’s name back to a fabric swatch called “Monaco” used in its early “better basics” concept.
According to the company’s current store locator, its Canadian footprint outside the incoming TEC location now stands at ten stores: Yorkdale Women’s in Toronto, Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke, Promenade in Thornhill, Square One in Mississauga, Rideau Centre in Ottawa, Carrefour Laval, Sainte-Catherine Street in Montreal, TD Square in Calgary, Metrotown in Burnaby and Pacific Centre in Vancouver.
